B: How come did you fail ? this oral test was quite simple, many of my classmates pass. Where did it go wrong ?
A: Mrs Lin told me that i did not speak properly as i was too nervous.
B: Then you should practice more at home, infront of the mirror.
A: English had pull down all my grades, i hate it so much.
B: You cannot say that, in our country english is very very important.
A: Then do you know why english is so important ?
B: Yes, of course i know why english is important to us.
A: Can you share some details with me ?
B: That is of course. english is important as it involve communication between one and another.
A: Ya, i agree. can you give me more examples?
B: Another example is when are in overseas or in a business trip to other foreign country, you have to communicate with them using english if not they would not understand what you are asking when you are using other languages.
A: I start to understand why english is so important to all of us already. i think i can give another example.
B: Ok. go on.
A: If we singaporean do not know how to speak fluent english, we will be laugh at. so, we should not disgrace our country, start speaking good english !
